This approach has significant environmental consequences, including increased greenhouse gas emissions, excessive water consumption, pollution, and growing landfill waste. In response to these challenges, Stitched by Kaylee was created to promote sustainability through wearable art and the principles of slow fashion. Instead of contributing to the cycle of mass-produced clothing, Stitched by Kaylee repurposes existing materials, helping to reduce textile waste while giving fabrics a new life and purpose.
